ABC Training Center provides a variety of programs and training to prepare students to care for individuals in diverse health care settings. These programs are designed to give the student both the technical skills and knowledge to succeed in the workplace.
Our nurse aide training program instructs the student in how to perform the skills necessary to successfully provide resident care in the long term care facility. After completion of the course, the student will be prepared to take the state certification test for nurse aides and with successful passing of the test, be placed on the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry as a certified nurse aide (CNA).
Our home health aide bridge program offers additional client care training to currently certified nurse aides or those who have completed a minimum 75 hour nurse aide training program. This program teaches the skills needed to successfully provide care to clients in a home environment.
Our pharmacy technician program will train students to work closely with pharmacists to help prepare and distribute medication to patients in hospitals, community pharmacies, and many other medical settings. Students will experience an interactive classroom environment, practice in a state-of-the-art mock pharmacy lab, and receive hands-on training in a local pharmacy during their clinical externship. Graduates will be well prepared to take the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam, to be eligible for licensure in Michigan.
