    hands off to the people that are in this career path. Its not easy it requires patience and care more than skill particularly if it is the elderly.

    I think could never work in a place like that. It’s a very importat job, but I can’t even take care of myself, I wouldn’t know what to do with people who rely on me for everything.

    People who are working in a long term care facility are expected to be well trained. We can’t deny the fact that their compassion towards their patients are really above the normal level. I salute every one of you.

    I think one way to check to see if an educational facility will turn out exceptional health care aides is to check their screening procedure for intake into the program. A center with high standards and a check into the candidates background and emotional quotient as well as their physical capabilities more so than their intelligence quotient, would be for me, a sign of a credible school. Too often you hear of atrocious abuses being inflicted on residents in long term care homes. I think if the places that trained them were more stringent on whom they licensed, we would see less of this.
